Custom Image List load time
Hi Devolutions Team,
we use RDM from a network share with MySQL Database. Opening the "Custom Image List" dialog for the first time after RDM startup takes about 50 seconds. Subsequent starts of the dialog take about one second, so that seems ok.
If we copy RDM to the workstation the dialog takes about 5 seconds for opening the first time.
Do you see any chance to speedup the startup time of the dialog when RDM is used from a network share? The old image list was starting way faster...

I will let the engineering department answer you about the startup time of the dialog box.
However, if you are using a lot the Custom Images, maybe you can have a look at our Theme feature. The Theme feature allow you to override most of the images used in RDM.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I don't think we can leverage the theme feature for our needs, as we use them in addition to the built in icons, not to replace them.

Do you think it could be acceptable for you to create a small local cache of the image. This way RDM could synchronize your network images on your machine. The load would be faster after that.

Hmm, why not. A local cache on the workstation would be also fine.
