Hello,
Does the clipboard option is checked in the Local Resources tab of your RDP connection?
Best regards,
Jeff Dagenais
Yes. Clipboard option is checked.
Everything was working fine when the server which I am trying to remote in was with Windows 2008 R2. As soon as I changed the OS to Windows 2012 R2 (Which is new install) now on all my servers this function does not work.

I do not have this install on my server. do you steps for the installation ?
Hello,
Before installing the Remote Desktop Services, you can also check if the Clipboard redirection has been activated in the Group Policies on the server.
1- Please run gpedit.msc on the server
2- Navigate to Computer Configuration \ Administrative Templates \ Windows Components \ Remote Desktop Services \ Remote Desktop Session Hosts \ Device and Resource Redirection [/b]
3- Check if the option Do not allow clipboard redirection is set to Disable or Not configured. If it is already set to Enable, please change it to Disable.
If you still want to install the Remote Desktop Services, please consult this web page about it. https://msfreaks.wordpress.com/2013/12/09/windows-2012-r2-remote-desktop-services-part-1/
