RDM 11.7.2.0 - Hangs when existing Objects are renamed / EDIT: Hangs everytime I add or change
Hi There,
since one or two weeks I have the problem that when I want to rename an existing Session RDM hangs up (freeze), I've to kill the task than, after restart the App, the object is renamed and I can work again.

Hello,
Could you try to change your offline engine from Default to MCDF or SQLite to see if that help.
You can do this in File -> Options -> Advanced -> Offline Engine.
Best regards,
Jeff Dagenais
Hi Jean-François,
thx for your quick response, the fast support of devolutions is one of the best product support I've seen so far.
I've changed the offline mode and will report back in a view days.

Hi Jean-François,
I have a Update to my problem, the problem situation is different than I thought in the first moment.
Not only when I rename things, no nearly everytime when I add or change Items my RDM hangs up.
When I wait long enough (30-45 Seconds) I get the error:
What could be the problem? Should I open an Support Request.

Hello,
Could you post a print screen of the Advanced tab of your data source configuration (File -> Data Sources -> Edit Data Source).

Hello,
The auto refresh and the ping online method may cause this issue.
Could you change your settings for the following:
- Auto refresh = 0
- Ping Online method = None
I think this will resolve your issue.
Best regards,
Jeff Dagenais
Thx,
changed the settings, will report back in a few days.
Regards Philipp
Hi Jean-François,
