Connect When Available -- connect when PORT is online? Any option to enable this?

Let's say I have a Windows Server that I am rebooting.

I go to the connection and select 'Check Is Online'.

PING says it is online... port says it is offline.

If I select 'Connect When Available', it will connect based on the PING online status and not the port, thus not being able to connect due to the port not being online.

Is there any setting to change this behavior?

I want it to 'Connect When Available' based on the 'Scan port' online status...

In settings, there is an option that says 'Is Online' -- I have it set to 'Check if host is online' CHECKED -- online detection 'Port Scan'.
This does not change the behavior of 'Connect When Available'.

Is there any other hidden setting?

Hello,

In File -> Background Services -> Is Online, did you set the Online Detection to Port Scan?

Hmm now it is working.
It was selected... and never worked.
The version was upgraded and must have been de-selected.

It works now. I had it set exactly the same previously but it still did the same.
I went back and un-checked everything and checked it back and it works.

Thanks Marc!

Resolved.
