Firefox

I am trying to get Firefox to be my default Web browser. Whenever I use Firefox in the remote manager (Web Interface to Network equipment), I get a spinning icon on the right of the screen. It never gets to the log in screen. Chrome and IE work, but I prefer Firefox. Is there a fix for this, or am I missing a settings?
