After upgrade to 11.7 RDP no longer uses inherited credentials or jump setting.
After upgrade to 11.7 RDP no longer uses inherited credentials or jump setting.
The credentials are there, but are not used and thus I'm prompted for username and passwords.
This does not occur for connections with direct cridentials, only the inherited.
This is extremely irritating, and I hope you'll get this fixed or a workaround is made known fast.
Hi Thomas.
We are having the same problems.
Also with VPN, it also not inherited.
Downgrading to the earlyer version, it works.

Same here.

Confirmed here as well - was working fine in the previous beta so how did this get into release without going through another test version? Someone needs to look at your release policy.
Same here

Tim
@Jens I agree that downgrading is the short term fix, but I reccomend installing a new versions than what is listed on the download page:
http://cdn.devolutions.net/download/Setup.RemoteDesktopManager.11.6.2.0.exe
I am also experiencing this issue.
Thanks, i dident know about this version. :)
Let's hope that they are fixing it soon!
Hi,
Sorry about that. I reverted the version from our web site. We will investigate what happened. Could you confirm that it was working in this release?
http://cdn.devolutions.net/download/Setup.RemoteDesktopManager.11.6.7.0.exe

David Hervieux
Yes, for me it worked with 11.6.7.0 but doesn't work (for me) with 11.7.0.0
I haven't reverted back yet, but I was on 11.6.7.0 earlier this morning and it was working (just prior to the upgrade).
It works for me too on this version.
We've found the problem. We will release a new beta before the final release to make sure that all the issues are resolved.
David Hervieux
Hi,
This version contains the fix:
http://cdn.devolutions.net/download/Setup.RemoteDesktopManager.11.6.8.0.exe
David Hervieux
Do I need to remove (or downgrade) 11.7.0.0? When I try to install the fix, it won't let me (a more recent version is installed). Is there a "force install" option?
You need to downgrade unfortunately or if you give me 10 minutes I could package it as an hot fix and all you will have to do is overwrite one file.

David Hervieux
OK I can wait. Thanks
Here is the patch
David Hervieux
RemoteDesktopManager.Core.zip
I applied the dll and it's still the same - not using the inherited credential
The Patch works not for me.
It looks like the same for me (not working). Still prompting me for creds.
@Taomyn
It works for some. Could you elaborate on your scenario. For example if you do a copy username does it work?
Regards
David Hervieux
I am using RDP (to Windows servers). I tried the x86 and x64 flavors, patch didn't work for either. I did a side-by-side comparison of the patch (file) and same date, time, size, etc.
When it prompts for creds, I can enter them manually and it works (logs me on), etc.
Hi,
I've renamed the patch name to make sure that your are downloading the right file
David Hervieux
RemoteDesktopManager.Core117.zip
Delete or rename the old file RemoteDesktopManager.Core.dll before applying the patch
David Hervieux
The renamed ZIP does actually now contain an earlier DLL and does fix the problem - before the ZIP contained the same version of the broken DLL we already had.
My only workaround before was to right-click the server and then choose "Open with parameters", then I choose "Open (Select Credential Entry)" and this is the default for the folder the server is located in and hence should be inherited - I then choose one of my LastPass entries.
Yes, new patch works for me now - thanks!! AWESOME quick response.
Yes th new patch fixed it! Thanks!!!! for help.
school note A (1) to David

David Hervieux

i can confirm that 11.7.1 works again, thumbs up for the fast bug fixing, and the transparent communication!
Nice Weekend.
Greetings from Germany
Philipp
Same here - just downloaded 11.7.1.0 and installed. Works for me also!!
Thanks again
I can also confirm that the new version fixes the issue. Thanks!
I have installed the latest update, but it is still not perfect.
On one costumer/root folder, it took a other folders VPN information, and a third folders username and passwords.
So there still might be a but somewhere!!!
i can confirm it also, issue is solved, thanks for the quick fix!!
