Clipboard buggy in RDM 11.6.1.0

Clipboard buggy in RDM 11.6.1.0

avatar

Hi everyone

I noticed that the clipboard is not working properly in RDM 11.6.1.0.

I can copy and paste files and text from my personal machine onto a server I've connected to via RDP but I can't copy files from a server onto my machine. Nothing happens when I try that. Text works both ways.

Can someone else confirm this?

Thanks for any help.

Best Regards

Marius

Hello,

I am not able to reproduce your issue with RDM 11.6.1.0 and RDM 11.6.6.0.

Have you encountered this issue with one or several RDP sessions?

Do you encounter the same issue in external mode?

Hello Jean

I have this issue with every RDP session. It's also not working in external mode.

Hello,

In external mode, we open Microsoft RDP (mstsc.exe) to establish the connection. Seems an issue with RDP on your workstation.

Could you try to click on Start \ Run, type mstsc.exe and launch a remote connection. Are you able to copy/paste files?

Hello,

Could you have a look at this help topic (http://help.remotedesktopmanager.com/troubleshooting_rdp.htm) and try the solution proposed in the section Copy/paste between a remote session and my local computer stopped working.

Maybe this will help.

Hi

I can copy/paste files in both directions when I'm using Microsoft RDP.

The task rdpclip.exe wasn't running but even after starting it and restarting RDM, it still doesn't work. However, suddenly I can copy files from my machine to a remote session but not the other way round. This did also not work a few days ago.

Sorry for this weird issue. It's just so random...

Thanks for your help.

Marius

PS: I have to say that I run RDM under my admin account and not the one I use to log in to my machine. Maybe that's a problem?

Hello,

Are you using RDM 32 or 64bit?

Hi,

We're using RDM 32-Bit

Hello,

Could you try RDM 64 bit.

To open RDM64 bit, launch RemoteDesktopManager64.exe instead of RemoteDesktopManager.exe from your installation folder.
