Native SFTP cannot transfer folders.

Native SFTP cannot transfer folders.

Not sure if this is a bug report or a feature request.

If I create a new Native SFTP connection, connect to the server, try to drag/drop a folder to transfer I get an error "drag-and-drop folders is not available". Is this correct? Is there no way to copy a tree of files/folders using the native SFTP?

I can use filezilla, if not, I suppose, but for various reasons would prefer to use the native built in functionality if it works.

Thanks!
Joe

Hi,
This is a limitation that we have. We hope to add this soon.

As a workaround for now, you can right click the folder you want and press "download". This will prompt you for a download location, then it will save the folder and its files to the desired location. It's not as easy to use as the drag&drop but hopefully this can work for you. We'll see what we can do for the drag&drop itself.

We should have drag and drop enabled for FTP and SFTP (native) entries by the next version of RDM. When it is out, could you give it a try and give us some feedback? Thank you.

Absolutely. I will give it a shot after the next update.
