I am using the RDM Client 3.5.4.2 for Mac and it keeps reporting that the datasource if offline. I have disabled caching and offline mode, per other suggestions in the Forum. Any suggestions?
Hello,
What type of data source are you using?
Best regards,
Jeff Dagenais
SQL Server/Remote Database. This appears to be working fine for my Windows Colleagues.
Hi,
Could you send us a screenshot of the message you are getting?

Screenshot attached. It does this randomly. Sometimes right after I open RDM, other times after I attempt to connect to a server. The pinwheel starts spinning, then this message appears.

Hi John,
Thank you for the screen shot. it seems that your Mac has difficulty to connect to your SQL Server.
The message you receive is perfectly normal and doesn't indicate you have been switched to the offline mode, it simply means that the app could not reach the server.
One of the things that helped most of our user with a similar issue is to Enable the action queue in the general preferences.
You can find the option in the Preferences window under the Advanced tab.
Tell me if that helped you.
