Remote Assistance or ??
Hello,
I'd like to use RDM as an interface for remote support of users. I see you can add a session for a particular IP address in Remote Assistance, but is there a way to have a session that prompts you for the IP or hostname each time? Also, what are people using in general for remote help applications? Is there a favorite?

What is in common for all the sessions? The credentials or something more?

Credentials, yes. I guess I just wanted use the RDM interface as a way to start the application.

If you dont want to persist the host information in its own session, you must use a Template in conjunction with the Quick Connect feature.
Create a new template of the appropriate type (RDP I presume in this case), use the File -> Templates command. Set all the properties as you would, but in the "Computer Field" use the $QUICK_CONNECT$ variable. You insert variable using the hyperlink at the bottom.
Then using the quick connect control, enter your host/ip, using the second button, select your template, then press on the green arrow.
