Hyper V Console

Hi all,

I dont get the hyperv console to work.
Tab connection, is filled (type Hyper V console)
type console, admin credentials

tab information: hyper V Server checked.

im working with an admin account
but i cant see any virtuals? what is going wrong?

--edit:
Im logging in with a usual user account (without admin rights) and start the session with an admin account it doenst work
when im logging the program as an administrator and start the hyper v console then, it does work

Hi,
you can set the credentials in the tab Tools. The hyper-v console will use those credentials by default

Hi,

unfortunately is doenst work.
add entry, hyper V console.
Fill in hostname,
type (info tab) is Hyper V server,
tools tab (admin credentials)

i dont see my virtuals.

Could you try to create an hyper-v entry directly from the Virtualization category?

Hi,
Everything seems to be setup right. Are you able to access your virtual machine if you use the Microsoft Hyper-V manager?

Hi David,

Yes i am. But i think i know what the problem is.
UAC control was prompting for an answer. (i saw in the rdm logging an error of acces denied)

I have to put off UAC but the server must reboot for this problem.
Because it is a production environment i have to do this in the evening of weekend.

Could UAC be the problem?
