How to keep powershell window from closing.

Hello all. I'm trying to get a vmware console connection working but I can't seem to keep the powershell window from closing so I can see the error messages. How do I stop this from happening? I tried to change the registry entry so the default is noexit but that didn't seem to work. I search the forums but I don't know exactly what to search for other than "how to keep the powershell window from closing". I got nothing back in my search.

It must be something simple I'm missing. Anyone got any suggestions?
