Hello
when automatic proxy search is enabled but no proxy detected the Remote Desktop Manager Free for Mac configured to use Devolution Online Drive freeze (spinning ball).
If must force quit the app, disable the automatic proxy search and restart the app to use it.
Thank you

Hi,

I'm not sure what you mean by "Automatic Proxy Search" do you mean the Automatically detect RDP Gateway server settings of an RDP Entry

It would also be helpful to know what version of Remote Desktop Manager Free you are using

Hello

i apologize i was not clear enough.
The automatic proxy search is the network service feature of Mac OS X "auto proxy discovery".
RDM version 3.5.4.2 (updated some minute ago)

Hi,

Thank you for the clarification.
I currently don't have an environment allowing to test this kind of situation.
I tested just enabling the Auto proxy discovery but I can't reproduce your behavior.
When you say that no proxy is detected do you mean that there is a configuration file but there is no config for the URL or, like me, there is no configuration file?

We have a setting on the Windows edition that has not been ported to the Mac edition to configure the proxy for all the app WebRequest.
Do you want to configure a different Proxy for the app then the OS defined one?

Best regards,

If i leave the auto proxy discovery feature of network but the network i'm connected with doesn't expose a proxy, all the apps (not only RDM but also Office for mac) freeze atteming to reach the internet. Only Safari work without problems.
I must manually set auto proxy discovery to OFF and restart the app to use it.
I think it could be ad issue with this feature, not a RDM problems because also Office for Mac reveal same behavior
I search the web for confirmation
Thank you
