Hello,
I see a lot of talk about the surface pro 4 but I cannot find a good fix, I am using remote desktop manager on both my PC, my laptop, and my Surface Pro the problem is only with my Surface and the resolution, no matter what option I try and select I still cannot get the resolution to show up in a normal size.. what am I doing wrong?
Hi,
Have you enabled the High DPI to force the scaling by Windows? It's not perfectly crisp but you should get the resolution you want.

dave,
still having problems with this no matter what option I choose. I may be doing something wrong here, are you sure I can get a full screen with a more manageable DPI setting?
thanks
Could you post a print screen of what you get?

here you go, basically it is just small fonts...

What is the remote OS? It's need RDP 8 to support the scaling. In full screen all the DPI is handled by the ActiveX.

this one is 2008r2 but also tried it with 2012 and 2012r2 and same thing...
the one thing i will mention is that on the surface using the microsoft remote desktop connection manager i am able to view it normal fonts after following a tech document to disable dpi scaling but i hate using that tool....
Could you post a a print screen of the Help->Diagnostic?

Font scaling is 100%. This means that "Disable display scaling on high DPI" is not checked in File->Options

Could you post a print screen of the whole main window when you don't open it in full screen mode?

it comes up with the exact same screen.
i have the display set at 1024x768 but it still opens on full screen with small fonts.
screensizing mode is set to scrollbar if that helps
I would like to see the whole main form with the tabs and everything else. You can it as a private message if you have sensitive information.
