RDM is empty after screen lock when password is enabled

avatar

Hi,

In the latest version (11.5.4.0) and previous versions as well, I'm having a problem, when my computer has been locked.
First of all, I'm having problem to restore (/re-open) Remote Desktop Manager after a screen lock. If I finally succed with it, and are able to enter my password for the application, I'm having a blank window (even though there was some opened sessions before the screen lock), and my navigation with session in the left, is not correctly docked:

I'm running on a Windows 7 x64 machine.

Cheers,
Anders

Hi David,

Sure - where do I reset "windows layout"?
Is it reset personalization to standard theme? If yes - it didn't help.

Hi,

I have tried to reset the layout, but it just happened again. RDM would come up. I've selected the program in the task bar, and pressed windows bottom + arrow up, and the window came up, but the window is blank.

Hello,

Could you try the following steps:

- Close RDM
- Navigate to %localappdata%\Devolutions\RemoteDesktopManager
- Delete all *.lyt files
- Restart RDM

Hi,
Just updated to version 11.7.6.0 today - and the problem is here again (twice today).
After first time, I deleted the files as described above.
Any other suggestions? :)

Hi Jean-François,

It was identical to the screenshot a little up in this thread (about a week ago).

Hello,

Could you try to unpinned and pinned back again the Navigation Pane.

Hi,

I now tried that, and RDM just did it again. A blank screen after Windows lock/screensaver.
It for some reason didn't prompt me for my password, and I couldn't see any of the 5-7 connections I had.
After pinning my navigation-tree, I could see all servers in the list (but not see any connected sessions), and when I unpinned the list afterwards, it was gone (as fully gone - no way to get the navigation tree back before I closed and reopened RDM).
