Add Sub Connection fails

avatar

Hey,

I just want to add a subsconnection "Native SCP" to a ssh shell connection. (look at screenshot).

It does not add a Native SCP Connection, It adds a RDP Session where I can´t not edit anything useful on general page ...

what´s wrong? I just updated to the actual version 11.5.3.0

Hello, the QA team cannot reproduce it so far. Do you think you can make us a short video showing us the steps you're taking sir ?

Thank you,

Hello again,

We've been able to reproduce the bug and we found a work around for the situation.

If you go in "File >> Option >> Types >> Availability >> Session" and check FTP/FTPS/SFTP/SCP you should be able to add your sub connection correctly.

Alexandre Roy

Hey,

the Workarround does not work, because that is my types/avaliability list.

Hello,

Could you also check in the datasource settings? There is also the availability that can be set there:

Yeah, this works. With what Version will the original bug be removed?

We'll try and work on this soon. There is a bug, but it might not be what you expect. If the "FTP/FTPS/SFTP/SCP" availability is removed, you shouldn't be able to add the Native SCP type, as this is included in the "FTP/FTPS/SFTP/SCP" availability.

We'll see if we can had an option for each type individually (example one for FTP, one for SCP, etc) but I'm not sure if it's easy to do. I'll keep you updated.

To confirm, in the next minor version, we will hide for example "native SCP" if you have "FTP/FTPS/SFTP/SCP" disabled since native SCP is a subtype of it.
