Fatal Error when exiting SSH session

Fatal Error when exiting SSH session

avatar

Hello,

when I quit a SSH Shell by typing "exit" in the shell, I get an error:
Fatal error: Please make sure your Connection Settings are valid.

RDM is unusable and has to be closed and reopened after that error.

If I close a session by clicking the X on the tab, there is no error.

I'm using RDM Version 11.5.1.0.

Regards

Marc

Hello,

We have made a fix that we thought was 100%, but one customer still reports issues. Would you be willing to try it out? It simply involves overwriting a dll.

Yes, I can try that and give you a feedback. Please send me the fix.

Hello,

Could you please close RDM, replace the DLL in the installation folder by the one in attachment and restart RDM.

This should resolve your issue with SSH.

Best regards,

Jeff Dagenais

Hello,

I had to zip the DLL file to attach it to the forum, so you would need to unzip the DLL file in the installation folder.

Hello,

I replaced the DLL and tested several SSH sessions, without any errors.
For me, the fix is fine.

Thank you for your quick support.
