Speedup opening Properties Window?
Hello,
We have RDME connected to a DVLS Data Source (SQL Server 2014 as DB).
Sometimes, it can happen, that it takes up to 15 secs to open the properties of a connection. I think this has to do with the connectivity to the datasource. It It only happens when we leave RDM untouched for a period of time. When we open RDM and open the properties window directly connecting to the DVLS DS, it works fine.
Does RDM Client close the connection after some time and has to reconnect to the DS? Is it possible to stay connected everytime?

I will check with our team but I suspect that maybe IIS unload the web application and restart. I will get back to you soon

I have played around a little bit and I think the refresh-timer for the Data Source is a solution. I set it to 30 sec. But this is a little workaround, maybe you can handle the connection quicker.
