Control F interception

Hi

We are working on a Shortcut Manager to allow you to change the shortcut keys. In the meantime, you have two options

and
http://help.remotedesktopmanager.com/file_options_keyboard.htm , disable the ctrl-F shortcut altogether.

Hey Maurice, thanks very much for a very prompt answer, is there any form of ETA for that ?

Also a while back I enquired in another thread about the possibility of making Edit Connection > Properties and putting that menu item at the bottom of the right click dialog box to make it consistent with other Windows Applications, and I was wondering if that was something likely to be implemented in the forseeable future?

For the properties comment, I have a question. I have 3 edit menu and this is my biggest problem.

Edit
Edit (User Specific Settings)
Edit (Local Specific Settings)

I afraid the if I change Edit to Properties, it become more confusing. Whatdo you think?

I don't think it would be more confusing, I 100% feel it would be less confusing. I think personally, I'd like properties to be at the bottom of the right click dialog box, and in the meantime whilst people adjust it could say "properties (edit)" and inside that there could be tabs for the Edit, "General" "User Specific" and "Local Specific".

You could also set a toggle in settings in case people prefer the old method, but I think people would catch on quickly and it would make the product more consistent with other windows products, which almost without exception edit properties, by using the "properties" option found at the bottom of right click context menus. It's shortcut should be Control Enter, consistent again with other windows properties dialog boxes.

Just my 2c worth.

I'm inclined to agree with networkn as the windows user base is still the largest OS in market share and that user base is conditioned to look for that feature at the bottom of a context menu. You already have the "Edit - Edit Entry" feature at the bottom of the Actions module window in the dashboard... many, many times I go to edit and I automatically scroll to the bottom and scroll back up etc.

The newest Beta, is actually pretty awesome all around. I really love how quickly you respond to feature requests, well in excess of the value of the product itself, which is rare in this day and age, keep it up!
