SSH SHELL & OPEN(EXTERNAL)

Hi

If i choose to connect to a Linux server with "OPEN(external)" i always have an embedded tab.
This problem is only with "SSH SHELL". With Putty, it's ok because i have an "External Putty".

My linux servers are with option "Display=Embedded(tab)"
I have RDM 11.1 .

Hello,

Indeed we do not have an external app for that entry type. If you prefer the external mode you must choose a type that does have a corresponding app.

Thanks, but we share a DataSource (xml) with 20 colleagues , and some of them prefer "external mode", although most of them prefer "Embedded tab" (It's our default mode).

Is there another solution, except using "Open with a template", and create a template "Putty + External" ?
