Integrate Tools into Session structure

Integrate Tools into Session structure

avatar

So I've created a nice structure, integrating all our servers, management web interfaces to various componennts and services as well as VMware environment.
All under the "Session" root folder.
Now I was adding some Microsoft Management Console (*.msc), using the CommandLine item to the structure.
However, a replica of the specific structure where the MMC is located gets created under a "Macros/Script/Tools" root folder.
A was searching high and low, googling but didn't find any solution. Is there no way of integrating items from the type Macros/Script/Tools into the Sessions structure?
If it's really not possible, I would really wish for an option to be able to. Because it really disrupts the workflow having multiple items, which belong to one topic/service, spread over different structures.

Hello,

We have two types of Command line sessions the "Command Line" entry in the Session - Other category, and the "Command Line (Macro/Script/Tool)" entry in the Macro/Script/Tool category.

The Macro/Script/Tool category is for reusable scripts that can be run against other sessions. If you want standalone scripts, you must use the type in the Session category.

Sadly there are no refactorings are edits that can be applied to transform the type for these entries. You would have to recreate them. Sorry about that.

Best regards,

Maurice

Wow, now I feel stupid :)
I obviously overlooked the existence of Command Line in the Session - Other category.
I think having to recreate them now is the proper punishment :D

Thanks for the quick enlightening reply
