Host Session Type - Dbl Click Behavior

Version: 8.0.12.0 Enterprise

I am not sure if this is a bug or not but I am confused by the behavior.
We use the "Host" type in place of the folder type so we can put sub-connections under it. We prefer it to using RDP or SSH sessions as the parent as its generic and we can use it for all types of hosts. However, occasionally someone will dbl-click on it. Why does it bring up a template chooser?

Seems like since a Host type has no built in "action" it should allow you to choose a default sub-connection type as the default dbl-click action, or simply do nothing on dbl-click.

If I am misunderstanding the intended role for the Host type, please let me know.
