I swear I've tried all the steps in the online guide, but I can't seem to get our Xenserver hosts to list their various servers. I have the right IP, the right root username and password, etc. Perhaps I'm missing a different article that explains this? I have the Enterprise edition.
Thanks
Donovon
Hi
Do you have anything in Help -> View Application Logs?
Maurice
Hi,
same Problem here. We have XEN Server Pools [Version 6.0.2 and 6.2] and nothing but a blank screen, when we try to connect.
Here's what the Application Log says:
[24.07.2013 15:28:04]ERROR XenServerManager::xenServerHost was null, it may be because the session was lost by the server, attempt to reconnect
[24.07.2013 15:28:34]ERROR XenServerManager::xenServerHost was null, it may be because the session was lost by the server, attempt to reconnect
[24.07.2013 15:29:04]ERROR XenServerManager::xenServerHost was null, it may be because the session was lost by the server, attempt to reconnect
[24.07.2013 15:29:34]ERROR XenServerManager::xenServerHost was null, it may be because the session was lost by the server, attempt to reconnect
The workaround with the embedded authentification does not work. Tested with 8.4.2.0 and 8.4.4.0
Thanks in advance for your response
Benjamin
Hi
I had added logging information in version 8.4.4.0, I would have expected an error message after each of the "XenServerHost was null...."
It seems I must add yet more logging.
We should be able to do that and publish a new build, today or tomorrow.
Maurice
Hi,
thanks for your quick response. I'll try the new build and post the logging information.
