File Explorer session doesn't work as a template.

Hi,
I created different templates for a lot of hosts and this works well with variable $HOST$. But when I use the file explorer session as a template it doesn't work with variable $HOST$. I tried different variables but didn't give a solution yet.
As a sub connection with variable $PARENT_HOST$ it works. I don't want to use sub connections because it's too much work to add all the sub's to the hosts. Didn't find a way how to do that on a simple way. Im pleased by using templates.
So what am I doing wrong? Is this a bug?
Thanx in advance.

Hello,

From what I understand, you are doing the following:
1. Make Host entry type session
2. In the host entry, select a File Explorer type template
3. In the host entry, put a host.
4. When opening the host entry, it doesn't use the host for the file explorer session.

Using these steps, there is indeed a problem setting the host, and we'll work on fixing that.

I can confirm this will be fixed in the next version of RDM.

That's exactly what I try to do.
Can you tell me when the next version will be released?

We aim to release either a beta or a minor version later this week or the beginning of next week, depending.
