Firefox autofill

avatar

Dear support team,

I'm using Firefox with auto-fill for several Websites since I have updated to the Firefox plugin 3.0.7.1-signed.1-signed I could right click and select "Fill Username & password".
But I didn't manage to auto-fill this on load. Never-mind if I set this in the Firefox plug-in settings or not.
This have worked with an older Plugin with unsigned version of the Firefox plugin.

Any suggestions I could test or I have missed?

I use the enterprise edition 11.1.0.0
Keepass 2.3.1 + actual plugin 2.1.2.0
Firefox 44.0.2 + Plugin 3.0.7.1-signed.1--signed

Hi,

To pinpoint the problem could you these steps?

1. Open the profiler in RDM. You can find the profiler in the Help tab on the ribbon.
2. Select the Debug Only tab in the profiler window.
3. Write 17 in the Debug Level field.
4. Go in Firefox to auto-fill the website.
5. Send the trace to support or tell me if "FindMatchingEntries:" if different from 0 in the profiler window.

I want to be sure it's not a request problem on load.

Best regards,

So it just doesn't work on the very first load.

Does it happen on all your websites?

Yes.

It just happens on the first loaded page on Firefox.
I don't have several different URL's but on all I load on Firefox the first loaded will fail with autofill.

If I start Firefox before with no Webpage autofill will work too.

For me, this looks like an timing issue.

Hi,

We've been able to reproduce your issue when we open a web browser session externally and firefox wasn't opened previously.

We will try to find a way to fix this.

Hi,

We found a way to fixed the issue. The new add-on version (3.0.8) is now awaiting review to be signed and accessible to everyone.

Let me know if it works also for you when the update will be available.

Thank you Oliver,

worked for me.

btw.
in the Extension manager the version is still not shown. Not critical. but would be nice if this could work too.

Hi,
I will add a feature request for the extension manager..

The reason this issue happened is due to the RDM Firefox extension's ID changing. We will fix this for RDM's next release.
