Keyboard shortcuts via ARD from Windows

Some key combos are grabbed by the os or application and never reach the ard client.
I'm working on a potential fix and will reply back when a solution is found.

Any luck finding a fix on this, other than all captured or none captured? Oddly enough, if I open the Mac keyboard viewer in a remote session, I can't reliably control the meta-keys on screen.


I doubt it's related, but my mouse's scroll wheel doesn't do anything either.

Hi Brian,

In your entry settings, under the Advanced tab, have you set 'Apply Windows key combinations" to "On the remote computer"?
It might be what you are referring to by "all captured or none captured".

Setting it to "On the remote computer" should let you use any Meta+key combination on the remote computer reliably.
If it is not the case, let me know and I will investigate your issue.

As for the scroll wheel not doing anything, I was not able to reproduce on my end.
If you have physical access, could you validate that scrolling is working locally?
