Hi,
we tried to add a document (Rich Text for example) as a subconnection of a server.
Everything works fine except the fact that you cannot open the document embedded.
Tried on Windows 10 and 7 same behavior.
RDM 11.1
Is the document a single object, you can open it embedded.
Is this a bug ?!
Thanks
Phil

Hello,
I believe documents are not supported as a sub-connection. If you try to add a document through the "new entry" > "new sub connection" method, you don't have a choice for documents. Did you add it in a previous version of RDM?

Hello, thats right i cannot add documents as Sub-Connection like you said, but if i have e Template which is a document i can add it as subconnection and its there, but aftwerwards you cannot open this document, you cann download it, but it won't open.
so i guess this is a feature ?! :)
or is it on purpose?

I will discuss the matter with David and get back to you.

I talked with David about it and for now we will disable the adding of a document template as a subconnection. Our current architecture doesn't allow for fetching the embedded document with subconnections, since subconnections work differently than normal connections.
We will add the support for documents as subconnections to our todo list.

Thanks for the consideration
