Change password in user administration does not seem to work

When using the change password button in the user administration (using a SQL Server database) the entered password does not seem to work. No error is displayed but the new password entered can't be used. Only after changing it directly in the SQL Server instance security for the user the password is changed.
Used version of RDM is 11.0.18.0
