Hi There,
I was interested in setting up an Active Directory Console entry, but it doesn't seem to be working.
I can browse the users okay, but when I actually try to do something like change a password nothing happens.
My machine is not on the same domain. However I can use sysinternals ADexplorer from my machine okay.
for the Active Directory Console entry, I have tried Mode Custom.
Domain Machine:ip of AD server
username: DOMAIN\myuser (which is domain admin) and the corresponding password.
ticked show users on the dashboard.
The test connection passes.
As mentioned I can browse the users okay.
When I try to change a users password nothing happens, no error or success message.
The domain does have password complexity policies, but I am sure that I am trying a compliant password.
I cleared the RDM application log before attempting, and nothing appears in there after the password is not changed.
RDM v 11.0.16
Any ideas whats wrong?
Thanks
J.
Hi,
I've been able to reproduce a similar issue with settings similar to yours. A fix will be in a next version, I will repost when it will be available.

Excellent thanks, I can confirm its working under 11.0.18
I was wondering though if one of the columns that could be displayed could be if the users was locked or not, it currently shows disabled or not but we have users whose account gets locked because of not updating their phones after a password change.
That would make the AD console really effective for our use.
Thanks
JS.
I will check with Olivier if this information is available in the API. We will add this if it's possible.
