Support for Vsphere powercli version 6.0

I run remote desktop manager 11.0.12.0. But having some issues getting it running with vshpere powercli version 6.
Everytime I run a connection that needs it I receive the message: Please install VMware vSphere PowerCLI to execute this operation.

I read elsewhere on this forum that only version 5.5R2 is supported. Is that still the case and when will version 6 be supported?
