Unable to see anything in Devolutions Server after upgrading client from 11.0.12.0 to 11.0.13.0
Hello,
Our DVLS instance was upgraded to 11.0.12.0 last week and has been running fine since.
However we've found that after upgrading RDM client to 11.0.13.0 we can no longer view anything in the DVLS instance.
Does that mean we have to upgrade our DVLS instance to 11.0.13.0 to resolve this?
Does this also mean that we should never have RDM client running newer version than the DVLS instance?

Hello John,
Could you try a Ctrl+F5 to clear the cache. The current DVLS version is 3.0.2 so there is no need for an upgrade. You have upgraded only the client and it should work fine without an upgrade.
Do you get any error when you open the data source?

Unfortunatley Ctrl + F5 didn't do anything.
What I've found is that I need to enable "Always ask username" and "Always ask password" in the data source property to authenticate and connect to the DVLS instance.
Before it would just automatically connect.
Does that mean in the new client we lose the automatically connect feature?

It should not be a problem. I will assign this to one of our developer. Do you get an error when you enable the automatic connect?

No, if I untick the 2 remember username and password options in data source properties, it doesn't generate any error messages and it would say "Not connected" under the DVLS instance in RDM.

One last question. Do you use web service or web api? You can change the value of the Service Type in the Advanced tab page when you edit the DVLS settings.

I can't find the Service Type/Adviced tab when editing the DVLS setting....
We don't usually modify the settings so it'd most likely using default setting.

I've upgraded my RDM client to 11.0.14.0, it'd tell me "Invalid username or password, please verify your credentials" everytime I switch to the DVLS instance and I have to put the password in again.
Does this mean that we need to upgrade the DVLS instance as well?

Yes please upgrade to DVLS 3.0.5.0. What version were you using?
