RDM hangs on logging off RDP session
Dear fellow RDM'ers,
Since the implementation of RDM last May we experience the issue that RDM sometimes hangs after logging of a RDP session.
I read the blogpost about this:

The solutions explained in the blog post are already in place:
All RDP sessions are embedded. The load plugins settings were already set as described in the blog post.
I have also disabled UDP.
Unfortunatly these solutions did not resolve the issue for us.
We use RDM 11.0.9.0
SQL2012 datasource.
Devolutions server 2.5.2.0 (we cannot upgrade to v3 yet, because of 10.6.7.0 clients)
RD Gateway on server 2012R2
Any other things we can try?

Could you try RDM 11.0.11.0? We have changed the way we send the logoff command.

We installed RDM client v11.0.11.0 and tested for 1 week. Unfortunatly RDM still hangs sometimes on session logoff.
We have tested both with UDP disabled.
Any other idea's?
Do you close more than one session at the time?

Most of the time we have multiple sessions open, but logoff one session at a time.
In some circumstances we have like 10 sessions, and when done we logoff each session after another.
But the issue occurs on both occasions.
Is there some logging we can provide for troubleshooting?
It's nearly impossible to get some logging since it's in the Microsoft ActiveX

How do you mean, its in the Microsoft ActiveX? Could you explain the relation between RDM, RDP and ActiveX?
RDM embed the Microsoft ActiveX which is the component used in mstsc.exe. We don't have our own implementation of the RDP protocol. On the other platform like Mac, IOS and Android we use FreeRDP.
In a nutshell it means that it's really complicated to debug the Microsoft code to see why it locks. We need to find workarounds.

yes Windows 7 using RDM 11.0.16.0
I am running Win10 Pro and RDM 11.1.0.0 and have intermittent RDM lockups when logging off an RDP session. I do not recall if there is any commonality with the remote session OS.
Most recent issue was with a Win2012 STD remote session.
Update* just did it again on a Win2012 STD remote session.
Just updated to RDM 11.5.1.0 and still the issue persists.
Just an update from our side. We still having the issue (with 11.1.0.0). It occurs indeed after logging off a session, but not everytime after logging off. Only now and then.
RDM freezes and the cursor keeps staying on a circle spinning around. The RDM screen turns to bright white.
Is there any logging available we can provide to help solve this issue? Windows eventlogs, RDM application log, etc?
Just forgot to mention: I believe it only happens after logging off from a Server 2012 session. I ask our users to pay attention when it happens.
