Using .NET in IE Embedded session

Using .NET in IE Embedded session

Hello. I am trying to use Remote Desktop Manager to access HP iLO remote consoles using .Net (3.5).

When opened in an embedded session, the iLO tells me that .NET is not installed. When opened in the full browser it is showing me that it is and is working properly.

Is this something that can be configured to work in Remote Desktop Manager, or is this functionality disabled for some reason?

Hello,
Could you try to use the embedded Chrome to see if it works? By the way RDM 11 uses .NET 4.0

I tried chrome, but it was flipping out over the self signed certificate our iLO has. I stopped clicking at the 60'th (no joke) popup asking me if I wanted to proceed or return to safety.

Is there anyway to get this working using the IE embedded session?

Do you use RDM 32 bit?

You could try to change the IE emulation mode

Honestly we don't have a lot of control over the IE ActiveX. I know that with the Dell IDrac you can specify Java instead of ActiveX so perhaps it could be possible for HP.

Thank you for the reply. Changing the Emulation mode to "default" made RDM recognize that .NET was installed, but now I am unable to load the iLO for the same reason mentioned in this post here:
https://forum.devolutions.net/topic2866-ilo-error.aspx

(IRC.exe.manifest did not succeed).

Unless there is a easy solution to this I will probably just open the session externally when I need to connect to the remote console.
