Moving option settings to new laptop

Hi,

I'm currently setting up a new laptop and I would like to move over all my options (like having the online button visible, no metro look etc.) and data sources I currently have an my old (Windows 7) laptop to my new laptop (Windows 8.1).

I tried the export/import option but I don't seem to get this working. The import shows me the datasources and some replacement options but whatever I select or de-select nothing is imported. No datasources have been added and as far as I can tell no options were imported as I still see the metro look and the online butten doesn't become visible.

Am I doing it wrong or ...?!?

You seems to do the right thing but the result is strange. Could you try the direct way.

Just copy remotedesktopmanager.cfg and remodesktopmanager.ext from %LocalAppData%\Devolutions\RemoteDesktopManager to your new laptop.

That appears to have worked :-)

If I can do anything else to identify the issue with the import/export buttons, let me know :-)
