Hello everyone,
Since yesterday i noticed that the batch edit does not function anymore.
When i select multiple sessions (SSH for example) and do a Edit->Batch Edit->Edit Session (General Settings) -> Override Jumphost enabled -> Select appropiate jumphost.
When i click OK it's accepted. However, when i right click a ssh session->Edit->Edit entry, the jumphost setting is still on OFF.
How can i fix this? I have several hundreds of SSH and HTTPS sessions to edit with a jumphost.
We use Devolutions Server 2.5.2.0 (upgrade to 3.0 will be soon) and RDM client v11.
Thanks in advance.
Hello,
After that you have performed the batch edit, could you try to do a CTRL+Refresh to refresh the local cache and see if the changes are present or not.
Best regards,
Jeff Dagenais
Hi Jean-Franscois,
Thanks for your reply. I did a batch edit and then did a FILE-> CTRL+ click on Refresh. (is that the right definition of a refresh?)
During the refresh RDM has to "think" for a while. Unfortunatly the settings were not populated in corresponding sessions when i checked. Jumphost was still on "off"
Even when i do a batch edit, and after that, clear the offline cache, the settings were not populated.
Any other things i can try?
With Kind Regards,
Valid Operations
Hello,
We will try to reproduce your issue.
Best regards,
Maurice
Hi,
I did some further troubleshooting, and i noticed that this behaviour with batch edit does not occur with RDP sessions.
At this moment we use only RDP, SSH and Web sessions.
When i set the jumphost via batch edit for RDP sessions, the change is saved in those settings.
When i set the jumphost via batch edit for SSH and Web sessions, the change is not saved.
I hope this helps with your reproduction of the issue.
Thanks in advance.
Dear Devolutions team,
Did you managed to reproduce the issue? I'm wondering if there's a status update about this one ;)
Thanks in advance.
Hello,
For your first post, I've managed to reproduce your issue and a bug ticket has been opened.
For your third post we're not sure if you either mean "Override RDM Jump to ON" in the General tab of batch edit
or set the sessions to be jump hosts via the information tab
Actually, only RDP session can be jump host so it is normal that this last feature is not saved on SSH and Web sessions.
Best regards,

Hello,
As you requested, I'm letting you know that we have released a new version of Remote Desktop Manager and your issue has been fixed.
Batch edit will now override the jump setting for SSH and Web sessions.
Best regards,

Hi Jean-Philippe,
Really thanks a lot for fixing this issue. It will help us so much.
In which version number was this bug fixed? We just created a RDM package from version 11.0.9.0 last week.
Thanks again!

Valid Operations
