Hello,
I would like to upgrade our RDM server/DB to the latest version which is 11 at the moment.
We are running Remote Desktop Manager Enterprise Edition version 9.2.10.0.
Does that mean I need to upgrade RDM install on the server to the latest version first and then use the "Update Database" function outlined in the article below?

Thanks.
Kind Regards,
John
Hello,
Is RDM mission critical for your organisation? A safer approach would be to deploy to a staging instance and have a health check before deploying to the whole team.
On the other hand, if you can afford to have an outage of a few hours in case you run into issues, I would recommend the following.
In case you run into issues, unzip the archive of the web site and restore the DB backup.
Again, for a mission critical system we would recommend you perform a limited roll-out to ensure your workflows are all supported to your satisfaction prior to impacting all of your staff.
Best regards,
Maurice
