Problem upgrading to v11
The installer appears to work find until the progress bar is only a few pixels from being full, and then just sits there.
Pressing cancel and selecting yes to cancel the installation does nothing. The only way to stop it is to kill the installer process or restart.
In the case of killing the installer process, v11 actually works doing so leaves the installer in an incomplete state and will want to roll back the install to v10.x when you next try to install anything else. I can actually run v11 perfectly while the installer is sitting this hung state, but I need to resolve this so it will stop trying to install.
In the case of restarting, it will keep trying to install with the same problem automatically on restart. If I cancel the install that occurs on restarting the software appears to be installed but won't run.
Is anyone else experiencing this?

Is it RDM 11.0.0.0 or 11.0.1.0 that you are trying to install?
Did you download the .msi or the .exe?

Could you try to download the zip file of RDM 11.0.1.0 and copy/paste the content in your installation folder.
When you launch RDM, does it open RDM 11.0.1.0?

I did that and it appears to have fixed it, but now I've updated again to 11.0.3 and it has exactly the same issue again.

I waited about 2 hours and this morning it hasn't rolled back, but it also won't start up so I'm having to uninstall and reinstall again.
Actually, it isn't even appearing in the list of installed applications even though the files are all there.
Anyway, I've used the msi this time and the progress bar stopped at a different spot:
Again, I can actually run it now but because of this stuck installer process windows won't allow me to install/update anything else and I expect it will roll it back when I next restart.
I really need a solution for this.
Could you try to install it from the zip file?

Will this solve my issue going forward or can I expect the problem to keep happening? I ask because I did the same thing last time and the problem came back.
I'm not sure what is the problem with the installer. I suspect that it could be the .NET Pre-JIT that ould hang.
Could you try something for me?
- Open a Windows Command line with the Run As Adminstrator
- Browse the installation folder and execute this batch file: OptmizeRDM.bat
