Hi,

I would like to move 5 users to a new database with all there connexions. We use SQL Enterprise.

There's a way to move users with all users specific settings to the new instance?

To move Entry it's will be easy but for the users specific settings......

Yes,

I need to split my database, because i've not found any options about security and password.

We have 45 users using the same instance. We have 5 DBA users and we want to use RDM to manage our password. But we got a problem with that because all administrator of RDM are able to see all password of DBA. So the only way to do that is to create a new instance for each departments.

I think that a backup and restore with a cleanup is the easiest way. You could delete the user and the session that you no longer want. You will also keep the history at the same time.
