1Password

avatar

I'm using Remote Desktop manager since longtime. Today I bought 1Password to optimize my password synchronization between OSX and Windows. Since the help just say:

This entry is used to define and configure a '1Password' credential entry. Use the
credential from 1Password by creating an internal web server in Remote Desktop
Manager to retrieve the information.

Can you please provide a quick manual to do this?

Thanks

Hi, i also want to know how to do this, any help? The manual seems undone :(

I also would like to know how to exactly make a binding between RDM and 1Password. The documentation is really not clear. And this can be the feature I consider a purchase of Enterprise license for.

Hi

We havent reached that section of the documentation yet, but I've installed 1password to get recent up to date screen captures and will provide a step by step guide in the next days, please follow this thread for updates.

Hi Maurice,

thank you very much. It is working. I thought I need only one general entry to make a connection between these apps. Now I understand that I need to create a credential entry for each service I use.

Thanks for the feedback

The credential entry falls in the category of "reusable entries" and they really should be a central part of how you operate RDM. We've started putting more emphasis on that in our online documentation as you can see here http://help.remotedesktopmanager.com/bestpractices_usecredentials.htm.

Use credential entries, VPN entries and Macro entries everytime you can, it allows for reuse and simplifies management.
