Hi,
we are currently appraising RDM for use in a small team - one of the major requirements is for a client who has a VPN set up with a 2 stage web-based VPN login, which leads to a webpage with a list of servers. Clicking on any server link brings up something that looks like Microsoft Remote Desktop (RDP) - but is in fact Juniper Terminal Services Client (the executable is dsTermServ.exe). I am able to handle the 2 web-based VPN logins by having 2 web browser entries (step 1 and 2). Step 2 has a VPN setting of type "Session" which links to Step 1, which seems to work quite well.
The problem is when we get to the webpage with the list of servers - I can open the link using another web browser entry, but there is no way to automatically enter the user name and password into the Juniper Terminal Servers Client window that appears, and there does currently seem to be support for this type of connection.
Has anyone come across this type of VPN connection before?
Best regards,
Craig
Hello Craig,
I don't know if this would help but you could try a typing Macro?
David Hervieux
Many thanks for your reply. We have been able to get it working using typing macros, sort of. The tricky part is to select the correct user when presented with a list. I thought we could use the left and right arrows in the macro - {LEFT} and {RIGHT} - but these don't seem to work.
Could this be a bug? I am using the latest beta version (11.0.1.0)
Many thanks,
Craig
