Ports for using an sql database to provide the connection list

I need to give the ports to allow through the firewalls to allow us to be able to load all of the connection information in the navigation panel. We found 1501 and a few other but never saw 1433. Would anyone have the port information?

like what is done in this help guide but need to know the ports:

You definitely need 1433. Microsoft has a complete SQL Server firewall guide here:

This link is specific to SQL 2008 R2, but you can change the version via the "Other version" link)
