Requirements for using RDM remotely

We'd like to be able to access and use our install of RDM from various sites including when we're not on the network the server is installed on. Are there any special requirements for getting the client and server configured to allow this? What I mean is we have RDM installed in our office and if one of our techs is offsite at a client, will they still be able to connect to the server and use RDM as usual?

Hi Arin,

You can use Devolutions Online Database as your data source to store your data (http://helpcloud.devolutions.net/dodb_introduction.htm)

This is a database in a cloud that can be access with an internet connection from anywhere.

There also an offline mode that can be setup with this data source to have access to your data offsite

Thank you I will look into Online Database.

Would that be a separate license for that then? My company is currently licensed for Remote Desktop Manager Enterprise and Devolutions Server.

Is there no way to just expose the URL of the server externally with SSL, through IIS, so that it's accessible from anywhere?
