Greetings,
This seems to have cropped up with the last update. Previously, when a server disconnected, or was rebooted, or timed out or whatever, and the session was disconnected, the tab would automatically close. Now this is no longer happening. I reboot a server from within the tab and the tab just sits there forever until I close it manually. Any idea why this behaviour changed and how to get it back? I could be wrong about it being related to the update it just seems to have started happening around the same time I updated.
Thanks,
Joe
Hello Joseph,
What version of RDM are you running?
Is it a VNC session that is not closing properly?
Best regards,
Jeff Dagenais
Hi Jean-François,
I'm sorry, I should have mentioned it's SSH sessions. RDP works as expected. I don't have any VNC connections, so I'm not sure if they are affected. I pretty much just use rdp and ssh. I didn't look at all of them but I looked at a bunch of my SSH sessions just now, and they were all using putty so maybe it's the culprit? At any rate thanks very much for the help.
Best regards,
Joe
Opps, forgot to answer all your questions. :)
I am running version 10.6.7.0
Thanks again,
Joe
Hi Joe,
Could you try to uncheck the Exit Command on disconnect option in the Terminal tab of your SSH Session.
Best regards,
Jeff Dagenais
Hi Jean-François,
Thanks again for the help. I was looking for the option you referenced and stumbled onto "Keep tab on disconnect" under settings from right-clicking the tab. Unchecking that did the trick. Tabs are now closing on disconnect. It's great that that is an option that can be turned on or off. RDM continually surprises me with cool features. :)
Thanks a ton, I think we can call this Solved.
Best regards,
joe
