Chrome extension loses connectivity to RDM periodically

Periodically, several times per day it seems, the Chrome RDM extension cannot connect to RDM. It seems to occur when I am aware from my computer for a period of time (like a lunch break or in the morning when I first arrive).

The RDM extension icon is visible in the Chrome toolbar but has a red X on it. When I click the icon I see:

RDM Chrome has been configured and is successfully connected to Remote Desktop Manager.

[Redetect credential fields]

When I click the Redect button the RDM popup is hidden but nothing else happens. If I right-click on a password field and choose "Fill Username and Password", after about 1 second a browser dialog appears "No logins found".

Restarting Chrome does NOT resolve the issue.

Restarting RDM DOES resolve the issue if I click "Redetect credential fields".

I'd be willing to join a screen sharing session with you when it occurs if that helps.

Chrome: 43.0.2357.130 m (Windows 8)

RDM: 10.6.3.0

We think that the listener is loosing connectivity for some reason.

This is still occurring, sometimes several times per day. Is there a fix planned or do you have suggestions for something I can do to resolve the issue myself? It's frustrating having to close, relaunch and log back into RDM when I'm in the middle of another task and trying to log in to a web site.
