Well, I guess I should consider Mac users "lucky". This release, unlike the immediately prior release, can actually connect to an RDP session through an RDG using LastPass for session credentials while storing the RDG credentials locally.
But, startup is slow on Yosemite on a 2014 MacBook Pro with an i7, 16GB of memory and a 1TB SSD. I can almost boot Win 8.1 and start RDP Windows faster than RDP Mac starts on OS X.
There are also a number of UI issues, one of which, the messy "status bar," I've whined about before and a new one: the source drop down randomly doesn't appear. Screenshots attached.

And, while I am bitching, why does RDM Mac timeout sessions? I can't find a setting that controls this and it's driving me crazy. :-)
Have you tried the update? Does the statusbar issue is fixe?
David Hervieux
Status bar dross is gone (thanks) and I think the timeout issue is as well.
Thanks.
Tonight, I opened an embedded RDP session in 2.5.3.0 and just left it idle. After about 7-10 minutes, the RDP session disappears, the message "peer connection lost" is briefly seen and the session is reconnected.
Is there no way to just keep a session going until I manually close it?
Thx.
