RDM (trial) with PVM (licensed): communication failure
I have all my system credentials in PVM. When I try to configure access in RDM, I get the following error message:
Unable to communicate with password Vault Manager, please verify it's started and that the database is opened.
Yes, PVM is open.
Any suggestions for how to address this issue would be appreciated.

No. This is a local instance. All of my sessions are SSH (over VPN - but I start that separately).

I will note that when RDM appears to be waiting on PVM, PVM does gain focus, but that's about it.

Hi Daniel,
I was able to reproduce your issue.
If PVM is closed on my computer, I receive the same error message as you. If I opened PVM and retry to create a PVM credential entry in RDM, it's working.
Does RDM and PVM are installed in C:\Program Files (x86) on your computer?

I have installed the latest versions of RDM Enterprise (10.9.6) and PVM (6.6.0), and so far it has locked up and crashed both applications when trying to retrieve credentials from PVM.
I'm now using a fully-licensed version of RDM, in the hopes of replacing mRemoteNG.

Could you send us your PVM and RDM application logs.
You will retrieve them in Help -> View Application Log. Click on the Report tab and you will found a Send to Support button.
