Hi,
I have around 250 RDP hosts that I have to access via SSH tunnel, but I don't want to create 250 separate SSH tunnels or 249 sub-connections.
Ideal scenario for me is that I have single SSH tunnel to 250 hosts (i.e. 10.0.0.0/24) and than separate RDP entry for each host.
Any ideas how could I accomplish that? Searched forums and have not found solution...
Hi,
I don't know if this will help but we will have soon in the beta a port forward connection type. Perhaps this could works with some variables coming from the host.

Hi David,
Sounds like a solution, waiting for that Beta version.
Hello,
In the next RDM beta version, we will have a few enhancements for our SSH portforward type, which is pretty much SSH tunneling. You will be able to put a variable in the "destination" field when adding a portforward (you can put multiple portforwards in one entry). In your case you would put the $PARENT_HOST$ variable.
Then, in your RDP sessions, you would edit them and in the VPN/Tunnel/Gateway tab you would set it up to open your portforward session, making sure to check the new "override parent" checkbox. This will make your portforward consider the RDP connection as its parent, even if it is not. This will then resolve the parent variables like $PARENT_HOST$ using your RDP session as a base, thus taking its host.
Once the beta version is out, could you test it out with your use-case and give us some feedback? Thank you.

Hi Hubert,
Thanks for that info sounds good.
I'm happy to test Beta version once it's out.
Where I can look for it?

Krzysztof
