Hi,
Has anyone seen how an embedded logmein session can mess up the keyboard on the host and any other remote session. I am seeing the following:
1. If logmein session is active, then open another logmein session the keystrokes are sent to the original session (which does not have focus).
2. If logmein session is active then keyboard does not work in any other session (RDP, etc) until logmein session is closed.
This is using 4.0 of RDM. Issues also seems to appear outside of RDM when using Logmein directly.
Trying to figure this one out is it is seriously annoying.
Could you try to undock it to see if it does the same?

I cannot replicate when LogMeIn is external in IE and a RDM RDP session is active. It does replicate when LogMeIn is embedded.
Could you try the undock mode in RDM? This is not the external mode. Could you also set the IE emulation mode to your latest IE version in File->Options
David Hervieux
Ok - I have made the changes. Set IE as the default. Version 10 since that is the version I have to use for other sites. I am in a process that I cannot interrupt so I will test this tonight or tomorrow and let you know. I hope it is that easy.
Well those changes made it worse. LogMeIn popped out of RDM and in it's own window. No keyboard or mouse control possible in the log me in window. I could work in the remote desktop session in RDM fine. I can work in RDM and logmein when I use logmein outside of RDM with no issue.
Could you try the other emulation mode?

I am having this exact same issue on 11.7.2.0, 32 and 64 bit, on Windows 10. It works fine if I undock it, and doesn't seem to matter which version of IE I select.
Wanted to add that I don't get this issue if the connection is sandbox'd
@Michael,
The sandbox process box has been added to resolve keyboard issue that you may have using LogMeIn.
If it correct your issue, please leave the option checked.

While that works, it greatly slows down the operation of RDM. Launching while sandbox is enabled causes RDM to go Not Responding and the portal login process is much slower.
Hello,
The process is a little bit slower yes. I will verify with our engineering department if something can be done.

Hello,
I had a chat with our engineering department and some enhencement regarding our embedded32 module (which is used with LogMeIn session) has been made and will be available in RDM 12.
This should help you with your LogMeIn sessions with the sandbox process option checked.
Best regards,
Jeff Dagenais
Fantastic! I look forward to the new version.
Thanks
