I'm trying to use an embedded web browser session to open up Exchange 2013's web-based ECP. I'm able to login and get to the main administration page but since Microsoft still lives in 2002, almost every configuration option opens up in a pop-up window.
Now, from what I've read on this very forum, it used to be that you couldn't even open pop-up at all but you guys fixed it by opening them in a tab. That's a fine idea in general, however, Exchange ECP tries to manage its pop-up windows pretty aggressively and expect them to be really "popped-up" and not in a tab (my guess). Therefore, any pop-up windows opened up in a tab inside an embedded web browser session are completely unusable.
So my question is, is there any way to have the option for a particular embedded browser session to have pop-ups open in a separate window instead of a tab?
Or maybe you guys have a workaround for this particular problem (apart from using external :P) ?
Thanks!
Hi,
Have you tried embedded Chrome to see if it work in a better way. The other workaround would be to use the browser extension and open the web page in external mode.

Hi David,
Yes, I've tried embedded Chrome but it's even worst.
I'll try the browser extension.
Thanks!
