Do you see your connection in the Global Opened session list?

Yes i can see it, see the line ABW-APPS01

It seems that RDM does not notify the database that the connection is now closed. Could you try to close the session with the X in the tab page? I just want to verify if it's related to the logoff or the VPN.

see the screenshot, no close vpn after pressing the X on the tap page.

We have for all of our vpn connections configured the Confirm disconnect.

You get no close VPN but it seems to have close the session with the X. It's look different than the logoff, isn't it?

When I hit the X I get question if I want to close the VPN, also I get the question if I logoff normally form a server but I don't see the close vpn and when I connect again to the customer I get the This session is already opened by another user!

As David said, I'm unable to reproduce the issue. I'd like to make sure of a few things.

As I understood, the warning saying "The connection is already opened" only happens if you close the RDP connection by using "log off", is this right? When you press the X instead to close it, everything is fine? If I'm wrong, feel free to correct me.

Could you export your RDP session and VPN session and send them to me: hmireault (at) devolutions.net
You can export by right clicking an entry and selecting export. Be sure to remove any sensitive information like credentials.

The way we have arranged it, is that whichever way an operator chooses the end a session, a disconnect popup is always displayed.
When we log back into a client that has no connections open we always receive "This session is already opened by another user!", this message always refers to the last session and can be several days old.

Even with your exact setup, I'm unable to reproduce the issue. Could you give the latest beta version a try? You can download it here: http://remotedesktopmanager.com/Home/Download#beta

If the issue is still there in the beta, do you think you could record a small video showing the issue (opening the connection, closing it, then trying to open it and getting the warning message)? I'm assuming I'm missing something.

Could you try the following for us please:

1- Disconnect your VPN manually prior to disconnect the session and see if the Warn if already opened message appear

2- Disconnect the session and disconnect the VPN manually after. See again if the Warn if already opened message appear.

When I disconnect i'll get the comfirm disconnect then I click yes if I click close vpn after that we don't get the message.

As I understand, you see a confirmation message that the VPN is disconnect, but in fact, it is not. If you disconnect the VPN manually, everything works fine. Am I right?

What type of VPN are you using?

Thats correct, it's a standard windows vpn.

We still have this problem also in the latest RDM version.

When I logoff from a server with a windows vpn connection i'll get the popup Do you want to close the vpn connection I click on yes and the connection will be closed, but when I or someone else wants to login on the server from the customer we are getting the message This session is already opened by another user!
